Research strategy is the focus of this Science|Business Network conference. It will bring together a select group of corporate executives, university administrators and policy leaders from all over Europe and from all sectors/disciplines. As the European Commission is just now beginning to draft its next Framework Programme, this conference is designed as a dialogue platform to plan corporate, academic and government R&D strategies for the future: What will Europe, and its science and technology, be like in 2030 and beyond? How are companies, universities and governments preparing for a better future? What should the EU do to help them?

Organiser:

This event is organised by Science|Business Publishing Ltd., a UK media and communications company with a Brussels branch office that is specialised in innovation. The company was founded in 2004 by two leading science and technology journalists. Core activities include a daily electronic news service; conferences; policy research; and services to help university, industry and policy members connect. The Science|Business Network brings together 24 academic members, including TU Berlin, Imperial College London, Karolinska, ESADE, Aalto, KTH and INSEAD; as well as multinational technology companies and government agencies.
