To solve problems that arise during project implementation under Horizon 2020, the new Coordination Centre will serve as a focal point for the implementation of the Framework Programme in Ukraine. The respective resolution was adopted on 30 November, at a meeting of the Ukrainian cabinet.
This resolution also established the commission for the selection of representatives and experts to the programme committee of the Framework Programme, which will be responsible for the identification ofresarch topics to be funded under the programme.
The commission is created to ensure a democratic and transparent selection of Ukrainian representatives to the Program Committee of the Framework Programme.
Ukraine became an associate member of Horizon 2020 in 2015. Today Ukrainian scientists are already participating in 61 international consortia and their share in the budgets of projects exceed 11.5 million euros.
