BONUS ERA-NET is a project with a full name BONUS for the Baltic Sea Science - Network of Funding Agencies. It is funded by the EU 6th Framework Programme during 2003 - 2008. It has the form of a consortium with 14 partners from all nine Baltic Sea countries. The project's aim is to build up a network of funding agencies and create conditions for a Joint Baltic Sea Research Programme.
BONUS ERA-NET is an EU 6th Framework Programme project with a total funding of 3.03 million euros for years 2003-2008. The project brings together the key research funding organizations in all EU member states and Russia around the Baltic Sea. The aim is to gradually and systematically create conditions for a joint Baltic Sea research and researcher training programme. BONUS operates in close connection with the scientific and management actors. The consortium is composed of 13 research funding organizations and one international organization. First joint BONUS+ call was launched in 2007 and the funded projects will start in autumn 2008.
Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Lithuania, Latvia, Poland, Sweden and Russia.
