Event review: Republican Conference for Young Scientists, Uzbekistan

The Uzbek Academy of Sciences organised a scientific-practical conference on the problems of the development of small businesses in relation to the development of scientific and innovative technologies from the young population’s point of view, on 3 March 2011.
The conference was arranged by young scientists of the Academy of Sciences and by the Uzbek Central Council of  the Trade Union of public education and science employees. The conference was conducted by the chairman of the Young Scientists Council, Prof. Gulyamov, who also delivered  a speech.

In his report he indicated that according to the programme of the 2011 “Small Business and Private Entrepreneurship Year” one of the main priorities to make the country’s economic development stable, is the creation of modern products. This measure demands the usage of high technologies offering a wide range of opportunities for small businesses and private entrepreneurships to achieve advanced science. 

The plenary session of the conference was formed by J. Khujamberdiev- Chairman of the Committee on Science, Education, Culture and Sports of the Oliy Majlis Senate of the Republic of Uzbekistan; A. Djumanov – Chief Consultant of Executive Personnel of the Republic of Uzbekistan; M.Karimov – Vice Minister of the Ministry of High and Specialized Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan; Sh. Turdikulova – Deputy Director of Academy of Sciences’s Institute for Biochemistry; J. Ahadov – Chief Scientist of the Institute of Material Sciences SPC “Physics Sun” of the Academy of Sciences  and Prof. Gulyamov – Chairman of Young Scientists Council of the Academy of Sciences in the Republic of Uzbekistan. The Academy of Sciences has jointly organized several events in the frame of multilateral support of scientific intellectual activity of young scientists with the Central Council of  the Trade Union of public education and science employees of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

In addition, in the frame of events organised  for young scientists and specialists, the winners of the competitions “Best innovation idea”, “Best scientific director”, and other winners were awarded valuable trophies. Information and practical help in the edition of programmes and materials for different conferences held by young scientists were provided, too. This conference was organised with the support of the Central Council of  the Trade Union of public education and science employees of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
