On 14-15 April 2014, a Regional Training for Horizon 2020 National Contact Points (NCPs) organised by the consortium of the IncoNet EaP project was held in Minsk, Belarus. The recently nominated NCPs from Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia, Ukraine, Moldova and almost the whole Belarusian NCP network, as well as experienced NCPs from the EU, altogether 44 people took part in the event.

The EaP NCPs received general information about Horizon 2020 and connected EU-funded programmes and learned the rules for participation, legal and financial administration, tips for proposal developing, partner search, etc. Also, the training included a big component on NCP practices in different EU countries that gave some food for thoughts for the newcomers. The meeting helped to establish personal contacts between the EaP NCPs.

The training was provided by the IncoNet EaP consortium partners having a profound experience of NCP activities: Barbara Trammer and Andrzej Galik (Poland), Ulle Must (Estonia) and Nuno Goncalves (Portugal). The local organiser of the event is Belarusian Institute of System Analysis and Information Support of Scientific and Technical Sphere, IncoNet EaP partner in Belarus.
