    Double issue of 'The UKRAINE Network' Newsletter published

    With a double 9/10th issue of their newsletter 'The UKRAINE Network' invite you to their annual meeting on 6 October 2017 in Augsburg (Germany), inform you about major developments in Ukraine such as the election of members of the scientific committee for the newly-founded National Council on Science and Technology, and the establishment of the Evaluation Office at the NAS of Ukraine.     Cluster Grant Scheme – Call for Applications

    The EaP PLUS aims at strengthening clusters in EaP countries, transferring / sharing good practices, and facilitating sustainable inter-cluster cooperation between the EU and EaP countries’ existing or emerging clusters. EaP PLUS offers six grants in total of up to 10.000 € to EaP clusters or cluster-like legal entities or organisations. The call is open from 15 June to 30 September 2017.

    Kick-off Workshop to launch 6 Projects strengthening Ukraine's Innovation and Science System

    On 6 July 2017, the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) is organising a kick-off workshop in Kiev together with the Ukrainian Ministry of Education and Science (MBW). Invited are the German-Ukrainian project partners, who successfully applied for so-called "structural projects" in the context of the bilateral announcement for the promotion of scientific-technical cooperation with Ukraine.

    Black Sea Horizon H2020 Summer School on 'Social Sciences and Humanities'

    The main objective of the summer school is to support partnering opportunities, networking and a reinforced cooperation between EU-Member States/Associated Countries and non-EU Black Sea countries (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova, Turkey, Russia and Ukraine) for joint Horizon 2020 applications. Participants will learn more about the EU's research and innovation programme 'Horizon 2020' and upcoming calls for proposals.

    Call for Applications - RI-LINKS2UA Summer School for Young Researchers

    The RI-LINKS2UA project invites young researchers from Ukraine to take part in the Summer School on Horizon 2020 proposal preparation and Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI). The event will take place in Odessa from 25-28 September 2017. Participation is free of charge. Local organisers will cover the travel tickets and accommodation for successful applicants. Deadline for application is 15 July 2017. The results of the application selection will be announced by 5 August 2017.

    Now open: ERA.Net RUS Plus Call 2017 for S&T Projects – apply until 4 July 2017!

    The call line 'Science & Technology' of the ERA.Net RUS Plus Call 2017 is now open! Researchers from Russia and Europe are invited to submit their ideas for a joint research project in the fields of nanotechnology, health, environment/climate change, humanities/social sciences, or robotics. A call for proposals for Russian-European innovation projects will follow in summer 2017. The new calls follow the huge success of a similar support measure implemented in 2014-2016 that resulted in 18 funded 'Innovation' and 45 funded 'Science & Technology' projects.
