The EU project Black Sea Horizon – like most of the INCO actions – has a dual objective: It contributes to the policy dialogue between the EU and the target regions and also implements a series of concrete activities to address the specific goals set in the call for proposals.
One concrete aim of the project is the establishment of a peer review database accessible for funding agencies of the Black Sea region as an important tool to enhance the capacity to conduct evaluations of scientific proposals in all scientific areas, to enhance the transparency of evaluation process conducted by experts, and to respond more effectively and flexibly to the growing workload, particularly in cases where very specialised, unexpected and urgent evaluations may be required.
In this regard a special access for interested peer reviewers from the Black Sea Region as well as from EU countries has been implemented within the EVAL-INCO Expert Database built by the DLR Project Management Agency, which is part of the German Aerospace Center (DLR).
Please register at the Black Sea section of the EVAL-INCO database and participate in the evaluation of project proposals in different scientific fields. You will find instructions under 'how to register'. Please also read the 'rules for evaluators' on the website.
