3rd edition of Science Slam Moldova: Science can be creative and fun

The third edition of Science Slam Moldova took place on 8th of October 2015 in the capital city of Chisinau. The event is organized by the Academy of Sciences of Moldova in partnership with the Centre for International Projects, the Network of National Contact Points of the H2020 Programme and DAS Solutions. Science Slam aims to promote scientific results and innovation in Moldova. It also gives young researchers a platform to communicate their ideas to the general public.
On the stage, in an informal atmosphere, four young researchers “fought” in an open competition proving impressive creativity. The desire to demonstrate to the public that their research is fascinating and that science can be fun at the same time, was awarded with a lot of applause and captivating atmosphere.

Slammers of the third edition talked about how the future can be changed by 3D printing, what are the main causes of corruption, which is the link between the economy and energy, but also presented a brilliant device that could save the lives of many people who suffered in diverse accidents.
